Steve has spent his career building and scaling innovation-driven businesses across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, delivering sustained top-line growth, profitability expansion, and category-defining products in highly competitive technology markets.

His leadership spans the full P&L and product lifecycle: product strategy, engineering, supply chain, sales, marketing, global go-to-market, brand licensing, and customer experience. He has launched hundreds of products worldwide and has been responsible for end-to-end execution across mobile devices, wireless infrastructure, broadband technologies, and next-generation connectivity solutions.

He began his career developing advanced weapon systems for the U.S. military before transitioning into consumer technology, where he held senior roles at Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, and TCL. He has guided complex global operations across Canada, Japan, China, Vietnam, the EU, and South Korea — building regional strategies, establishing cross-border supply chains, and securing channel partnerships that enabled sustained market share gains.

He is an avid inventor with patents across multiple companies and an advocate for both intellectual property protection and selective engagement with the open-source community.

His approach blends disciplined IP stewardship with strategic collaboration — fueling innovation while protecting enterprise value. As a founder, he has co-created three companies: KaiOS, Apostrophy AG, and Boundless Devices Inc. KaiOS and Apostrophy AG introduced specialized operating systems that reshaped mobile accessibility, security, and global affordability.

At BDI, Steve and his team built a global brand-licensing and product development platform spanning concept creation, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and customer delivery. The company today operates across consumer and enterprise networking, with a portfolio that includes copper, optical, wireless (5G), and Wi-Fi technologies.
